The Dance . . .

One of the most exciting and beautiful sights I've ever seen are the Sand Hill Cranes during the mating season. I noticed them walking around about 30 feet ahead of me and as I raised my camera, they suddenly started their dance, flying up 3-5 feet in the air, circling and bowing to each other. Breathtaking!
