A big rain came this morning. The air has been cleaned, everything has been given a huge drink of water and the temperatures have dropped into the 60s! Our power went out this morning for about two hours. It was dark in the house so Pete and I sat outside to have our coffee and enjoy the rain on the roof and all around us. Power outages can be a fun adventure--especially when they only last a few hours. Since we're entering thunderstorm season, I need to get my candles and matches lined up in a convenient location.

The raindrops falling from the roof edge and the plop-hole are great photos. I'm really looking forward to a dose of your wonderful bird photos.

Glad to hear you've cut ties with someone who uses and abuses you. Clearly, he doesn't deserve your talent.

Very cool to have met a new fan at the gallery and to strike up a bit of a friendship with him. I'm sure he'll be fascinated by your studio. Isn't the Irish lilt delightful?

Thank you. I'd much rather be sitting in candle light instead of flashlight and battery thingies. I'm late in responding here, but since April we have had a lot of rain, but not much thunder or lightning. But we've still got more of the rainy season left.

Oh gosh, all this time later and I still feel such a relief in being rid of him. I wish him the best, but am so glad he's out of my life!

Yes, love the Irish lilt. And many other accents, too.

And thanks on the photography, too!
