I was at Myakka State Park on Saturday. On the way to the Weir, I saw two Vultures sitting on some deadwood to my left. I took a picture, and when I got home and looked at it closer, I realized there was a little vulture sitting in the grass below the adult.

Exquisite the way you captured the water droplet falling off the spoonbill's beak. Thanks for bringing these exotic beauties into my day.

I'm now not sure if that is a baby vulture because it lacks the downy feathers of a baby.
We have been lucky to see the spoonbills every time we've gone there. Yes, the water droplet was a lucky shot.
I'm glad you enjoy my nature photos. It's what I love to do.

Myakka is my favorite state park that is near to us. There is just so much of "old Florida" there untouched by humans and commercialism.
The spoonbills are elusive, and we were lucky to see them that day.

I like the "petticoats"!

Lucky shot on the petticoats.

I really like Myakka and think you would, too. Yes, there is a suspension bridge called Canopy Walk that takes you over the treetops.
