Yesterday Debra stopped by to give me a bunch of Ginger Tea, (my favorite-I love the heat and bity-ness from the ginger) she got from the Wong Kai Imports store. It is just the coolest store ever! The tea is already sweetened with a little honey and only 20 calories for a big cup ( Read more... )

it will be interesting to see what you and Debra come up with. Her pots are neat, they look like weed pots. What's the name of your etsy shop?

Do you have a memory foam topper on your bed? We found that adding one to our bed helped R with his shoulder.

Sorry about your lip. Hope its feeling better with a little campho phenique.

Yes, that is a weed pot! I didn't care what shape she made them, I just asked for the narrow neck. I like weed pots because you don't need to put much in them, just a little interesting twig will do.

Our mattress is worn out and we need to get a new one (11 years). I wish we'd done that before Pete's surgery. When we do get around to it, I will check into the memory foam topper.

Yes, good old campho phenique. I remember using that years ago. I'll have to get some. I think it works best when you catch it right away, which I didn't.

I need to update my store. Apparently I've let it expire. I'll let you know when it is back up and going.

Darn I responded at my email & it went to your spam. The 4" foam topper is best. You might have to get new sheets because it's thicker. We had to. I think all the sheets you buy now have deeper pockets because of the pillow top mattresses. We have been getting more mileage out of our mattress due to the topper.

I like ginger in every form. I like things that get my attention, not bland.

I'm beginning to think maybe all the stress in our lives lately is also what caused the fever blister. Right now I have a feeling it hasn't peaked yet and will get worse before it gets better. It's a contest now of what people look at when they are talking to me, my scar or my lip. :)) Oh, well, there's a lot worse things . . .

You have had a lot of stress on your body and emotions lately. I hope it gets better soon. There is some stuff we can get here called Zovirax which clears it up pretty quickly. It might have a different brand name over where you live. It has to have Aciclovir at 5% w/w in it. Of course, the sooner you put it on the faster it works. It is very expensive. I had one last spring when my immune system was down (first one ever!) but, as I found out later when I saw the doctor, it was the exact wrong medication to use. It made it worse!

Ginger tea = yum I had checked out your Etsy shop and found it to be like mine, empty. Doubt that I will ever fill it up again. The only time I make jewelry now is for gifts. Love the pots and have a great vision of them glazed and holding wire trees! Good luck with your lip, never had a cold sore but daughter #2 has them when she is stressed. She uses Abreeva or Nexcare and lysiene pills if they become chronic.

I went to check it out last night and found it empty! I had no idea why or what happened to everything and went into a panic as I had spent days originally setting it up and writing a little story about every single item. After some investigating, I found out that after four months the items expire if you don't renew them. I had no idea....I'm not very computer savvy or business oriented at all. I had neglected the store after I set it up because I was so busy with other things and selling well other places. Anyways, my sister is going to help me renew everything and thinks it can all be saved.

I have had cold sores all my life, since I was a teen. But sometimes years pass and I don't get one and then I'm under a lot of stress or eat too much acid and they come out. You are lucky you don't get them, they can be pretty painful besides looking bad, too.

What kind of jewelry do you make? Anywhere I can see it? My artist sister egg_shell makes jewelry also. She makes such unique and unusual things like you've never seen before.

Mostly wire wrapped pieces..have a FB page here..https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rosegardenfae-Jewelry/47865377457?ref=bookmarks..let me know if that doesn't work. Don't know how to create a live link in comments. Must check out egg_shell's jewelry as it sounds intriguing. I was still able to read your profile page. I had two Etsy shops at one time, the other was vintage stuff. I made some lifelong friends via Etsy so have fond memories.

I was able to go right to your FB page with the link you gave me. I like your wire wrapping....very creative pieces you have done, and quality workmanship, too. Thanks for the fb link. I also have a store on fb called Kathy Storm's Art Shop.

My sister helped me figure out what was wrong with my Etsy acct. I guess I never even knew about the four month expire and renew thing. Well, now I do and I will keep it going. I just added four items and will add more every few days. Right now it is mostly photography, but I plan on adding glass and wire trees soon.
