Close to sundown tonight the sky to the west was golden and threw a beautiful color on these eight Ibis as they were flying home for the night. I love the stacked formation they are flying in with one leading the group.
Oh my, you have taken some gorgeous shots, too! I enjoy them so much! Ones that I could never imagine being able to take here. I'm so glad we can all capture and share our "living areas" and what we see around us with others.
Thanks, Joan. I remember you liked pelicans. They are a favorite of many down here. With many of the larger birds it seems the wings are more proficient than the legs. What's the movie you saw?
Nice video footage in the trailer. Down here we have an organization called Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center on the Island. They do tremendous good rescuing and releasing! I don't know if you have facebook or not, but they have a page on there keeping you updated with all they are doing and their rescues and outcomes. Or you can just google it.
