Jim & Gail stopped over after dinner last night. And yes, it was a bell they were bringing for Pete. It is a beautiful bell and I knew when I saw it I would be photographing it today. Unfortunately, for me, they said it was an antique from Jim’s father and they wanted it back…after Pete was done with it. :)) It has a light and airy tinkley tone ( Read more... )

I was surprised at how big the bell is after seeing the last photo - neat! Beautiful.

Yes, I wanted to show that last picture so you could see the size. It is beautiful and has such a nice ring to it. And Joan is right, it is an elephant bell from India.

Thanks for doing the investigating for me, Joan. I would have eventually gotten around to it, but hoped one of my LJ friends might know already what it was....and you did!

Today is first day of home therapy. He is doing so well on his own, but I know there's exercises for him to do that will improve movement and healing.

Last month was Holly Faire (once a year) where I was a vendor and sold my wares. The County Fair that is going on now is a competition. I will be posting about that experience a little later.

It is a beauty! Jim & Gail didn't know what it was called, but Jblindsight ID'ed for me and I just let them know.

Pete is doing well. The home PT is coming today for the first time.

Last night after walking around the fairgrounds I was so tired when I got home and slept deeply again.

I'm glad Pete is recovering nicely. Chris's dad went in for something similar to replace his shoulder. I think he's out of the hospital now.

That's a neat little bell. Bullet broke one of her toy balls and the jingle bell inside came out. That was my favorite one for the sound.

Yes, I love bells and chimes of most any kind and tone. I can't wait to make some wind chimes of my own instead of always buying someone else's creation.
