Such a lovely combination: spider webs and rain drops caught inside a bromeliad . . .

That's a wonderful photo. And I'm glad other people like your Blue Heron photo as much as I did. That will be good to have half of your studio for photography - especially the large monitor! I guess you are getting lots of advice over there from your camera club and friends on colour accurate ones.

OMG, that is big news about Pete. Is he apprehensive? Or relieved that something is to be done about his pain. He's only just retired. I knew he had a lot of back pain a while back, but didn't realise that his hip (and knee) were involved.

I love when you do ten things, I find out so much about you and your life! Good luck with your haircutting :)

Oh, and happy birthday Zach!

When the studio is done the way I am envisioning it, it will be wonderful. My computer and workspace is now a little corner in a walk thru room from the garage into the house. No room for much of anything, unpleasant and poorly lit workspace.

Most all my finished work is trial & error and just playing around on my own.

Yes, big news about Pete. He's not looking forward to it, but at the same time he knows this is what it is going to take to relieve the pain. He has one bad knee also, but the doctor said he would address that at a later date. They will only do one hip at a time. I'm thinking this is going to be a year of surgery and therapy before he is done. We have talked to several who have had this done and they say they are so glad they had it done and nowadays it is done quite often and recovery is excellent. Knee surgery though is a different story.

Glad you like my 10 things. For some reason it is so much easier to write little lists of things that are happening than one big story.

Everyone we've talked to who has had the hip surgery is very positive. On the knee surgery, not so much. The knee doesn't really bother him that much and it was the doctor who brought up about that surgery. Yes, there will be lots of recovery and therapy and nursing. Pete had four surgeries on his Achilles tendon and that took lots of care afterwards. We have both nursed each other many times over the years for surgeries, etc. I'm not the best nurse, and Pete is much better at it than I am.

I have thought about etsy for both my small stained glass items and now my photography. My sister has urged me to do that also. That may be the way I will go after I get my new set up.
