As for the snail shell in the bird bath, that seems strange!

It's a lovely wing. I'm wondering if it is a moth, though? Here, we have one kind of moth that has a partially translucent wing. That wing looks too big to be a lacewing. Maybe Thagirion can help us?

I guess the bird ate the snail. Here, I see currawongs knock the shells of the giant rainforest snails on the roof of the shed, trying to get the snail out. I find empty shells in the yard. That shell is a very pretty colour.
