Two red bellied woodies in a kapok tree . . . Here's the end result of a photo I took today that I thought had good bones and might be worth saving. It had some nice qualities, but was kind of ho-hum. Once I got into it, I really had fun and thought I'd try and make it look like a painting of sorts. Oh wow - miraculous! This really worked well. I can see you did a lot of moving of elements and creation of parts yourself too.

It was like painting on canvas. The original picture was my beginning idea or rough sketch on a canvas, and Elements was my box of paint tubes and brushes. I really like this method of "photo painting" which I'll call it for awhile until I can think of a better word for it.

I really had so much fun "creating" the new picture. It kind of took me back to my roots of painting on canvas.
