zebra longwing . . .

I’m almost done foiling the first window and I’ll probably start soldering Monday or Tuesday. We are preparing for Isaac around here. We’re pretty sure we will get lots of rain (they are predicting anywhere from 10-20 inches) and some pretty heavy winds, but it is hard to say exactly until it gets a bit closer. By tomorrow we will know more, I ( Read more... )

I get chills (good ones) thinking she is actually trying to communicate with me--send me a message. I believe that!

I had a very similar dream about my dad about two years after he passed. I rarely remember my dreams but the end of it was so vivid- he was standing in the dining room with his arms open like he was expecting me and just gave me the biggest hug. And then it was over and I woke up feeling peaceful and warm. Such a gift.

I hope your mom continues to be peaceful and that her passing is the same. It's hard to watch someone linger.

Thank you so much for sharing your dream, too. I really believe things like this do happen and they are very real to me. My dad and my brother both appeared to me in dreams of hugging and closeness after they died, and my mom came in a dream to me the night before my brother died. I was so sure I was awake though, but how could I be, so I just figured it was a dream.

What a pretty butterfly!

That dream is very comforting - to all of us.

It was so comforting and still is. I was telling Pete about it this morning and crying my eyes out. Even though I was so sad, I felt such a natural relief to just be talking about it. We both talked about our dreams and family.

Pete was asking if you'd found the gravesite.

Thank you! and especially for the hug.

The storm was not too bad for us this time, but it looks like LA is going to get it tomorrow. I think they are much better off than they were when Katrina hit.

Yes, a very big one!
I really do believe that. And I think that she is trying to comfort me, like a mother does.

Wow! your dream! I do like that there is an aire of mystery to some things in life that just can't be explained away. I really don't think we are meant to know everything. Some dreams or parts of dreams make sense and are easy to interpret, and then there are those that . . . well, just don't.

Yes, some don't make any sense but this one did make some sense. The weird thing is, I don't think Gyro even knew this lady. She was really beautiful and gracious, and didn't deserve what life dished out to her.
