I think that's what's going to have to happen. I've tried contacting schools, health care providers, etc. My doctor did a titre test, which will confirm that I have the antibodies to the diseases, but that's not a replacement for the records. So, when I get back to law school, it's off to the student health center! Yay!
I've been using my titers and not the actual immunization records from my pediatrician since I got them taken for med school. you might have to get DTaP, but that's probably it. there is no way they can say that the titers aren't a replacement for the actual immunization records!
Medically, proof of titers should be enough. None of my patients have immunization records, so I just check the titers and I write it in. New York is really picky about stuff like this (I fill out so much paperwork for schools and people who work in health care, so it's like state-regulated stuff), and I've never had a problem.
So I hope that works for you. I know this stuff is stressful.
