The other week my train was a bit late for two days in a row. the passengers were just told the tardiness was due to mechanical difficulties. today i found out that it was late on tuesday because a woman jumped out in front of the train. somehow the free donought doesn't seem like such a lucky gift.

Auditions are neat things because everyone is either way, way freakishly friendly because they can't tell who the important people are so they won't take their chances, or extraordinarily bitter and nasty they have to deal with these over-enthused people all day long.
