In other words, it's been too damned long since I was able to come here and say "hi" to all my wonderful friends. Then again, so freaking much has happened to me and my family, I honestly don't know where to even start getting back in touch here. {sigh}

A brief attempt to do that anyway is hidden here. )

How does it feel to be back? weisshund July 20 2007, 17:41:05 UTC
Yatta! I have the honor of being the first to comment. ^_________^ Welcome back, Llama.

There really isn't a succinct Spanish translation for "townhouse", so stick with Casa de Llama or Townhouse de Llama.

Thanks, bro! I congratulate you on bring first... not as if it was a surprise for you, though.

{smirks then is serious}

All kidding aside, however, without you helping me get through all the crap I've gone through over the years, I'd never have made it this far. A thousand thanks just don't even scratch the surface!

Gracias for the language input, too. Yeah, it is still a "house" so Casa ought to work.

I had to do a double-take when I saw your entry on my friends page. Then I realized it really was you! I've really missed you and I'm glad you're back. It's been way too long.

Unfortunately, I can't help with the icons as I've kinda moved from anime a bit (though I do love going back and watching the old stuff) and am into other things. Plus the icon-makers I know don't make anime icons. If you don't find anything though, I can try and ask the people on my friends list to make something ^^;

Anyway, I'm just excited for the new fanfics and I can't wait to read them!

Hey there, Carter!!!

{flying tackle glomp of joy}

I'm beyond thrilled to hear from you and am even more excited to know your life is moving right along. Not to worry about leaving anime, it just means you found something else to love, ne?

Come to think of it, my fanfiction is all from relatively old series, so even someone who isn't bothering with the new stuff can still enjoy it. That's nice to think about.

And there be dragons! Love the kawaii dragon mood set.

Glad you like them! I was going for a certain "Hakkai feel" with my new layout coloring and so forth, thus adding a dragon seemed to fit perfectly. Now I just need a nifty icon with Hakuryu on it and I can really be dragony!

*hugs* Welcome back. Seeing this entry was the biggest surprise I've had in awhile. A good one though.
Seems like things are going good now, hopefully that will continue for you.
I'll see what I can do about the icons for you. It will depend on how much time Ivy give me to work on them. Being only three months old at the moment she takes up most of my time. ^.~ Good news is I've been in a creative mood with nothing to create lately.

Oh my goodness! You've got the *cutest* little baby, Duet! I cheated and ran over to your page long enough to beam brightly at all the kawaii pictures!! I knew there would be surprises here, but so far, this is the sweetest one since she is simply adorable.

{ponders what is necessary to apply for honorary uncle-hood, then smacks himself and continues to gush over other things}

As far as icons go, you already know how very much I'd love some from one of the most talented icon-makers I know, but ONLY if they don't take away time from those exceptionally important people in your life. If you do decide you feel like it, well, I will be eternally grateful for them.

Oh, on a related note, weisshund had to remind me that this lovely Saiyuki one was from you and I thank you for it! It was painful when I had nowhere to go with such a delightful creation, but now everything is grand.

Oh, this totally eclipses the Harry Potter Book 7 release (aka The Potterdammerung)! ::huge ebil grin::

Broadband is fun - and I say this as someone who has (ab)used her broadband connection downloading torrents *and* podcasts! Plus, broadband is wondrous kind for uploading, which makes it easier to share stuff. Like fanfic. ::looks innocent::

It is *so* good to see you back. Will e-mail you to catch you up on events on my side of the world, as it will eat your life if you even try to look over my LJ. And we can't have that. Uh-uh.

Looking forward to the next post!

Yatta!! I feel so warmly welcomed back! To know my return even threw a slight shadow on the juggernaut that is all things Potter, makes me feel a little perkier!

And, yes, broadband makes sharing things faster and easier... things like lemons, bishounen, and angst, ne? {glares at Melpomene then adds} Now if only it made muses more cooperative, too. ^_^

I'll look forward to that update email. The job of "eating my life" is taken up by my mother and her four cats, so having one less contestant for that will be most welcome.
