I am frustrated that our household cannot donate more than a few paltry dollars here or there to help with recovery from Katrina, and saddened to know that there will still be a need when we can do more (and we will). I remain unsurprised by the brutality and the extraordinary grace shown by a lot of people down there, and horrified by the federal ( Read more... )

So, any chance I can see you next Tuesday or Wednesday late afternoon or evening? It sounds like you will be deep in rehearsals, but could you catch a bite beforehand maybe? I will have a car, so I can go where you are. I would LOVE to see you IRL!

I want pictures of the fingernails! (And notes on how you do it; mostly I keep mine clipped short and buffed, but gardening season will soon be over and I'm more comfortable playing with makeup now.)

The fingernails are just using the nail guides from Walgreen's, and patience (which I often lack, and which is why I don't often have French-manicured nails). I love them, though. They're fun.
