I hope it will be. I'm not asking for much, really. Just a getaway. See a new city, have some food, be a nerd.

Also, I'm hoping that having a vacation to look forward to will keep me from getting quite as crabby as I usually do at this time of year.

Seattle is such a fun city! I love the vibe of it.

I feel the same way. My brother offered me up another trip to the last weekend of the year so I now have a road trip to think about! \m/ It feels good to have plans, no matter how big or small. :D

Oh, have a great time in Seattle! I really enjoyed the city. (I really loved the Jimi Hendrix Experience - slash - Science Fiction Museum near the Space Needle. And, of course, the original Starbucks. :D)

It's funny how many people I work with have asked if I'm going to visit the very first Starbucks. (I'm not planning to.) I guess because Portland is such a coffee-centric town, it's a little mecca. Myself, I like tea. Decaf tea.

I'm pretty excited about the Science Fiction Museum myself. Even without the BSG exhibit, I'd still be going.

Any other not-to-miss tips?
