My Friday morning class is amazing. Lives are being transformed. That's what three young women told me this morning. That's how I started off my Friday. I don't attribute a direct cause-effect relationship between my teaching and their transformation, but it is gratifying to know that I am somewhere in the mix ( Read more... )

This is the class that I took over after the original instructor quit, two weeks ago. Today was just the third time it had met--it's a weekly class--and only nine out of the sixteen students were there. So, it was pretty hopeless.

I'm sorry you are feeling sad tonight. There was a lot of good in today for you. Maybe its the stars. My stomach has been in a tight knot all evening and I can't figure out why. As Obi-Wan would say, there is a disturbance in the Force.
