My wish for Henry is that he'll end up with teachers that love him, that see his specialness, and that have an expansive vision for how to accommodate that within the limiting confines of our reductionistic system. If that system is where you and he want him to stay. My sister didn't make it in the regular system. My parents (after nearly losing her) put her into a tiny Quaker school (20 kids total grades 9-12), where she thrived.

The picture within a picture really works, and I love how the picture of Malcolm is at the same angle as Terrance's body in relation to the frame and how Malcolm seems to be pointing at him. This guy right here, that's who I'm talking about. Excellent meditation in words, too.
