Whoah, how did you post the icons in the comment like that? (It appears that they are just like LJ userpics appear everywhere else, where it pops up the little window that will take you to the user's journal/profile.)

I'm but a poor graduate student! i have no fundage to devote to additional icons!

The 1st and 2nd icons were taken from tshirts sold on the online store for a magazine called Mental Floss. I thought they were absolutely hilarious and witty--I would love to own all those shirts. You can't lose with a Tshirt that says "When life gives you Scurvy, make Lemonade". Besides, I figured people were getting tired of seeing my mug everywhere.

The 3rd icon was taken on a very silly drunk night in September. I've had many silly drunk nights, but this one yielded a shot of me in my best form: absurdist comedienne. My emotions will always show on my face. This icon is just an example.

As for the interests:

I think you got greg galway confused... it'd be either "Greg Graffin" or "Galway". Either way:

Greg Graffin is the lead singer for the hardcore punk band, Bad Religion, as well as a stellar solo artist. He's an utter inspiration to me--lead singer in one of the most influential punk bands with searing lyrics on the state of the ( ... )

Huh - I didn't know that about Greg Graffin (previously known to me as only 'the lead singer of Bad Religion'). Neat.

And yeah, I guess those two things must've just melded into one in my mind somehow...
