First,

this sounds exactly like a conversation you would have.

Couple days back, I asked
amiga500 to hook me up with this meme. Anyone who wants it in return from me just has to ask. Basically, I'll point to three of your icons, and three of your interests, and ask you to do some 'splainin.
Icons:
1.

The 1st and 2nd icons were taken from tshirts sold on the online store for a magazine called Mental Floss. I thought they were absolutely hilarious and witty--I would love to own all those shirts. You can't lose with a Tshirt that says "When life gives you Scurvy, make Lemonade". Besides, I figured people were getting tired of seeing my mug everywhere.
The 3rd icon was taken on a very silly drunk night in September. I've had many silly drunk nights, but this one yielded a shot of me in my best form: absurdist comedienne. My emotions will always show on my face. This icon is just an example.
As for the interests:
I think you got greg galway confused... it'd be either "Greg Graffin" or "Galway". Either way:
Greg Graffin is the lead singer for the hardcore punk band, Bad Religion, as well as a stellar solo artist. He's an utter inspiration to me--lead singer in one of the most influential punk bands with searing lyrics on the state of the world, as well as having a Ph.D. in evolutionary biology. He wrote his thesis on scientists, their beliefs in evolution, and how it conflicts with their beliefs in God. Mr. Graffin is proof that you can do what you love, through and through.
Galway is a wonderful part of Ireland. I love love love it. My family spent a considerable amount of time in County Galway (different from Galway, the city--which is nice too), specifically on this tiny island, called Inishbofin, located 7 miles off the coast. I have very fond memories of that region of the country, as I spent many adolescent summers in that region.
Ranma 1/2 is one of the few anime/manga series that I followed. It has a very funny story line. To summarize it, the lead character, Ranma, fell into a cursed spring while training with his father. Now, evertime Ranma is splashed with cold water, he turns into a girl, and he turns back into a guy with hot water. Most of the comedy arises from the situations that arise from the transformations (other characters cursed by the springs invariably show up), and from the ever-tangled web of relationships and love.
Zorak is a crabby mantis that I was first introduced to by the Cartoon Network shows Space Ghost Coast to Coast and Cartoon Planet, and showed up in the subsequent Brak Show. Zorak is a heckling cynical villain, and one of my favorite cartoon characters. I always love the wiseguy assholes of comedies.

And yeah, I guess those two things must've just melded into one in my mind somehow...
