What is the voting for today, anyway? Are there going to be elections? For who? I HATE those ads soooo much. They don't even make sense. People jumping in the air in slow motion with really bad violin music....whaaaaaaa??? lol.
Today we're voting in provincial elections for premier. The main parties are the Liberals, the Action démocratique du Québec, the Parti québécois, the Greens and Québec Solidaire. But I might just overlook all of them to vote for the Marxist-Leninists. :s
If you're on the voters' list, you can vote. You should've gotten a thing in the mail about it in the last week or two with the address of the polling place. But, if you don't have that, you can go to the site above and enter your postal code and street number and it'll tell you where to go. :)
I *did* get those things in the mail, but I threw them out. My rule is, if it doesn't get mailed to me in English, into the garbage it goes! (Well, also 'cause I just plain don't vote ever.) I wouldn't vote anyway 'cause no WAY am I going out in this weather. Fucking rain. Ugh. At least it's not snowing though. -_-;
Marxist-Leninists, eh? Hmmm. Now that sounds interesting! Are the Greens the weed people? Or are they that environmental group you told me about?
The Greens are the environmental people. The weed party is called the Bloc Pot, but they don't have candidates running in a lot of ridings. Including mine. In mine, I have the five main parties, the Marxist-Leninists and one independent.
i cannot believe you watched 7th heaven. i think i just died a little on the inside.
and i like your new haircut enough, that i didn't even make the typical (slighty insulting) joke i always make when my guy friends cut their hair! i think you should take that as a compliment!
You'd be surprised. It's the guiltiest of my guilty pleasures. I think the perspective I watch it from is something along the lines of this. :p But I'm willing to admit that I've spent entirely too much time wrapped up in the trials and tribs of the Camdens.
And, what's the joke? You can't leave that dangling out there!
lol. i just can't STAND that show. glad to see at least someone is liking it, and its resurrecting from the dead even when its supposed to have gone off the air ;)
usually, i'll say to the guy "hey, you look balder!" causing them to freak out and search for bald spots for several seconds before saying to them, "so, you got a hair cut?"
I enjoy the show on the level that I like to make fun of it. But it's not like I get seriously invested in it like with most other programs that I watch...
Awesome! My dad says he's going to try to get tickets for either the Blue Jays (they play the Friday night and the Saturday afternoon) or for the Raptors (Friday night). If he manages to, they'll probably be free. Do you want me to see if he can get one for you as well? The only thing is that my uncle and cousin *might* come as well, so there would be no guarantees that you'd get one.
Either way, if I set aside Saturday night the 14th to hang out, will you do the same?
