So yesterday, during a rather hellacious commute home (omgwtf 1/2/3 trains?), I bumped into Steph. I was already traveling home with a co-worker, Alexie. We're all standing waiting for the train when Alexie says "so, where do you two know each other?" I smiled wide, turned to look at Steph and said, "where do we know each other from?!" LOL Steph

I think it would only be of seriousness when you're introducing someone you're dating, but even still... I only try to be vague if the presenter seems to have a pre-modern viewpoint about online introductions and safety and all that.

I initially read that as "pre-modem." lol I agree though. And I think I'ma start saying pre-modem to describe this from now on.

But even a lot of people who I haven't even met (yet) I still feel a close connection to. LJ connections to me have a much higher likelihood for intimacy because it's not like blackplanet or something. We're sharing details of our worlds here.
