shame I heard like people died each day of the strike. my mom and grandmother were like, we'd probably be on the pickett line with them..

You heard people died? I mean, I'm sure people died during the strike, but I didn't hear of anyone dying because of the strike.

Not to be late, but as someone who has cared about NYC's economy for a while, retail does mean a lot. Retail is money not only for big corporations, but also the people that work for them. And a huge loss of tax dollars.

I'm very pro-union, but I'm actually counting the days until Toussaint appears before a judge (9). The city lost 12 mil in sales tac revenue, and the business in generall lost hundreds of millions. Some of that money goes into our schools. Definitely a priority.
