I think we need to quit transplanting movies from Japan. Maybe there's some sort of cultural difference that isn't being adequately explained/translated, but every time a Japanese movie is remade for America it is the biggest piece of shit ever put on film

I also have a very low tolerance for Japanophilia. I do not believe anime has intrinsic virtues. If a piece of anime is good, it is good because of plot develoment or artistry or something along those lines. I loathe people who blindly and slavishly worship anything that comes out of Japan simply BECAUSE it comes out of Japan (or for that matter, those who blindly and slavishly worship anything for any reason).

Movie was so low-budget.
Though,I have to give some credit to this Japanese-influenced Korean movie about dolls. That shit kinda freaked me out, yo. I gotta get the name from my friend.

Watch it.
It's kind of freaky, but it's so low budget that it's funny.

I agree...the only thing about The Ring that bothered me was the movement of the ghouly girl, but yeah. I can't stand movies like that. People don't watch them around me cause I ruin them..."Oh, look! A black dude! He's gonna die!" cause they NEVER make it through. "Oh, look! Dumb blonde bitch is gonna run up the stairs instead of out the front door! She's gonna die!"
Ass head? Now that sounds like a promising look for Sarah Michelle Gellar, and a great Batman villian too!

The whole movie was pointless. The plot had more holes and unanswered questions than context. And it was NOT scary. This little girl crawling through my tv screen is NOT scary! Someone half my size is not scary! lol That movie was so bad it hurts physically.
