I never really thought about it in the way that Jesse Jackson put it, but... homosexuality isn't even a violation of the 10 commandments. But folks have no problem working on Sunday (or Saturday, depending on when they observe the sabbath), adultery is accepted as natural (particularly in comparison to homosexuality), shop-lifting is basically like a misdemeanor (isn't it?), etc. If that isn't an eye-opener on how much impact social influences have on religion...
I was quoting him for a while after that. "It didn't even make the top ten!" lol! "How many of you have relatives who've married someone of the same sex?....Now how did that get in the mix?" lol! That's why I was trippin when you told him to shut up. I thought he was on point for the most part.
