Oh! Oh! I keep meaning to ask and forgetting: would you be able to help me get into Slade's head for a little bit? I'm trying to write him, but every time I try, he ends up feeling very, hmmm... off.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure. The only limitations are that I need a Slade that's from an era where Rose is active. To be honest, his role in the fic was simply to act plot device in my original outline. Somewhere along the way, though, I realized that he's a little too interesting to just cameo and never return, so I'm trying to figure out an IC way to extend a chapter into something a bit more thought out.
