Toast, you are awesome. That is a real turn around from Jazz being the aggressor all the time, and I just love that it's an 'assignment' and you don't say from whom.
Plus, it's your writing, and you are so good at it, and I just love this story.
I don't seem to have much coherency beyond 'I love it.'

To be honest I'm of mixed feelings about lovey-dovey Jazz/Prowl because... well, they /are/ different. So I got to thinking about why the hell the two'd get together and one thing led to another and... well. Fic ^^;

Ahah. Well, that's the main question, isn't it? After all, how long do you have to live a lie before it becomes reality? And ... is Prowl real or is he simply a persona? I could never believe that Prowl's monotone could be his real personality. It has to be some sort of act... so I just elaborated on that idea a bit.

As for Jazz finding out the truth, well... it's up to you to decide, I think.

To be truthful, part of the fun was writing scenes that were so totally cliche... If you took out the italicised flashbacks, this whole fic turns into some sort of mix of all the common 'stereotypes' of P/J fic. And it was really, /really/ fun writing it like that ;D

I was /thinking/ of having that happen but then I'd have to figure out why high command would want two spec ops agents to be wooing each other and faking love at the same time. It didn't really work in my brains, unless there were two factions within SpecOps that didn't communicate, which didn't make sense at all, really. So the love had to be real on one side of the equation. =3

I /always/ have a reason in there, or at least, I try to. Sometimes I'll write fluff for fluff, but usually that's for canon pairings. If it's not, well, I'll at least have written backstory previously (normally). Human!TF!AU doesn't count because of that huge canon that I already wrote XD

I have nothing agains fluff, no. Goodness, no. I just don't like random NO-MAKE-SENSE fluff. I just never felt like JP was a very realistic pair to make, without further explaination.
