And he's growing progressively more grumpy, as he's finding either books that aren't in English, or books that call for ingredients that he has no chance of getting

In my time, a lot of people have them in their homes. They come in all kinds of sizes. We have ones for home that are this big *measures it out with her hands* and then we have ones that we carry with us. *gestures the size of a laptop* And they keep getting smaller all the time.
