[Three days is far too long to spend in the company of strange, suspicious-looking priests who keep asking questions and looking at him sideways, like they know more than they're letting on. Even a blizzard isn't enough to stop Frodo from getting out of the Temple as fast as he can

[He'll stagger up and attempt to shut the door, but...well, he's three feet tall and the wind's blowing etc. etc. so it'll take him a moment or two]

There. *she brushes her hands and finally looks over at Frodo.* Wow, you're even shorter than the Prince.

Well! Hello there!
How did you manage to--*and... paaaaauses, uncharacteristically*
...No. No. No. No. No... Can't be...

...is something wrong, sir?

What? Oh. Nothing! Nothing at all. Sorry! Just you...reminded me of someone-... thing-... a book. Nothing important, really.
Digging! You must be quite good at it to manage to get all the way here. It's a blizzard for the history books out there.

...sitting, going to stay sitting for the moment, feet aren't cooperating] It must be a dreadfully dull sort of book, then. I'm hardly material for a good sort of tale.
I've...been at it for a while.

[And sees, at least what SHE believes, to be a child collapsed against the door. A barefoot child collapsed against the door.]
[She rushes toward him, wearing what would appear to be at least four sweaters above a long wool skirt (and whatever other layers under the skirt)--the colors dark and drab save for one very bright orange shawl wrapped around her shoulders.]
Are you alright???
[Fully prepared to pick him up and rush him off to warmth! (At least until she realizes he's a very small full-grown adult... whoops...)]

I'm all right, yes, just a bit chilled. [Understatement of the century, Frodo. There are snowballs in your foot-fur] It's...it's quite a storm out there, isn't it?

[And gets a good look at his face now and realizes... holy crap this is an adult!!!]
[Granted, her shock is barely readable outside of her halt in movement.]
It is... Did... you come here from... the Temple...? [Because she's fairly sure she doesn't recognize you (obviously) which means you must be a new arrival]
[Doesn't wait for an answer and just moves forward, that small stature letting her be a bit more forward than usual because she can't shake that initial impression that he's a child.]
We need to get you somewhere warmer and into something dry.
[Names can wait until later! She's in mommy!mode now!!]

Indirectly. I got lost a few times. It's like the end of the world out there. [He's half-serious, hoping she'll tell him that this sort of weather is perfectly normal for where-ever-they-are, and that it's nothing to worry about. Then, standing on slightly wobbly legs, he'll brush snow off his rolled-up sleeves and out of his hair.]
That's very kind of you, miss. [He'll attempt a bow, but give up once he realizes his motor skills have stopped cooperating.]

Hey... you all right?
[He kneels next to the--is it a kid?--offering a hand up.]

Take it easy... I'm not... going to hurt you.
[He holds up his hands to show he's unarmed, despite the talons on each finger.]
Just wanted to see if you were all right.

Frodo sighs, sliding to sit against the door, obviously embarrassed now] I...forgive me, you...you startled me.

You must have the worst luck.
