The Sci-Fi Channel is nothing short of awful nowadays, with a hearty helping of dismal. When they first got started they were at least bearable. They showed lots of old TV programs and classic SF movies. Now...they're like this.

I honestly can't remember the last time I watched this channel. It no longer holds anything of value for me.

Eureka! And... um... Eureka! :D It used to have Stargate, too, but now... it has Eureka!

(also sometimes B movies with Bruce Campbell, which are totally worth watching just for him, but then - I think he's hot, so your mileage may vary)

Yep, I'll agree there. Eureka, and Stargate Atlantis, love them both. (Dr. Who is a fav, too, but it doesn't count because the BBC produces that and kept its authenticity intact.)

Sci-Fi Channel movies, though, simply reek, production-wise, plot-wise, et cetera. I yearn for the days when they simply showed my classic SF.

I met Bruce Campbell at a con once, and realized just how much more good-looking he is in person. And what a card--he showed us the pratfall he purposely did to convince The Powers That Be that he was more than capable of playing the Army Of Darkness lead role, grabbed his own collar and yanking himself into this front-flip and landing on his back, hard, on the bare stage. We all screamed because we thought he'd killed himself, but then he jumped up laughing. I've been in love ever since. LOLOL

I saw it was running again after I read this, and I almost turned it on, but couldn't do that to myself. :/
