Having been torn from Dalmasca and thrown into this... into Discedo, as it is known, has plagued me with mixed feelings. As has my reunion with my friends. Upon Balthier's advice I have taken one of the apartments in the Marshall Street complex, across the hall from his and Fran's own place of residence.

The passage from Nalbina fortress to Archades, fraught with peril as it was, was less treacherous than some here. I am only happy that their powers are kept at bay.

Dalmasca is my birthplace, yes. It is a beautiful land, a desert country. And what of yourself? From what manner of place do you come?

Sounds nice. So it gets pretty hot there? Heh, deserts were always a bit too much for me.

The place I'm from is Amestris. It's... The countryside is nice, but the whole nation's too overshadowed by the military. For my taste at least.
