So many arrive here only to be taken once more. There is little consistency upon which to depend, that much is clear. With the coming of each day, Discedo reminds us of its instability... its callous nature.

There is, so far, no sign of either Vaan or Al-Cid. That they have not reappeared signals their return to Ivalice as opposed to death. Happy as I am that their freedom has been returned, I... Having been torn from Dalmasca and thrown into this... into Discedo, as it is known, has plagued me with mixed feelings. As has my reunion with my friends. Upon Balthier's advice I have taken one of the apartments in the Marshall Street complex, across the hall from his and Fran's own place of residence.
