I know I myself as a recruiter have done things like this. There aren't many ways I can learn about a candidate before I send them to my client. There are thousands of candidates and only a few loyal customers; so when it comes down to it I'd trample a hundred candidates to make my client happy. I've googled for candidates, looked for

It's a public forum, I don't know why anyone would expect prospective employers not to find out about it. But then people are amazingly stupid a lot of the time, it shouldn't surprise me.
