Totally not your fault, but once things got going it was a fun con. I'm willing to give it another shot next year.

Sorry things were not as funtastic as they should have been :( but a bad con experience every once in a while is bound to happen.

I sure hope so. :) My next con will be CT, and I know that will be a blast. It's our local con so I know pretty much everyone from previous years!

Oh lord it sounds like you had a really trying weekend. :( Your Mark of the Rani Peri looks great so far! I'd considered doing that one but decided not to. Maybe next year. :)

We Peris have to stick together, there's so few of us! I'm working on Revelation of the Daleks for D*C this year.

I'll be sure to! I got my 'jacket' for it in the other day--found an Ann Taylor wrap shirt on Ebay that should work really well. I'm wearing my Amy Pond Lodger jeans and boots with it (spike heel boots on me = lol no) so it won't be exact exact (I know her pants are sort of baggy) but I'm not too fussed, and hopefully no one else will be either. :)

All I need now is the shirt and a new wig and I'll be set!

It sucks that you had all those disasters, but I hope it doesn't put you off Convergence - it's an impressively well-run con.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your Peri costume! I love seeing Old Who costumes that aren't the Doctor.

I think I'll try again next year, hopefully with a more reliable car and a bigger group of friends!

And don't worry, there will be plenty of Peri pictures! I've actually only ever cosplayed Classic and Torchwood before.

hopefully next year convergence won't be so bad for you. you should definitely bring back femme seven if you go, just because of Sophie Aldred. :D

Yeah Femme Seven pretty much goes to every con with me by default. It was this time too! If all else fails, bring out Seven!
