Hi! You're new, so I wouldn't expect you to know this right off. Could you please put spoilers under an LJ cut? This explains how you do it.

Of course, I'll do that right away! I'm sorry if I killed anything for anyone! D:

Thanks for the cut! :) In the rules section on the comm's profile page, we have a rather simple explanation of how to make an LJ cut under Rule 4. :) Rule 6 addresses how the comm deals with spoilers. :) Thanks for reading http://dw-cosplay.livejournal.com/profile in advance, as there's tons of good info there for all comm members. :) If you have any questions, feel free to contact me (I'm one of the comm mods) via PM.

The new is more than likely made by the costume department.
Amy wears black oxfords with her DftM suit. I'm doing that costume at the end of the month too.

I bought my pair at Off Broadway Shoes. I'm using them for this outfit, 11th Hour, and A Town Called Mercy.

The fabric has already been IDed but you can't buy the coat premade. Steve Ricks on the Eleventh Doctor Costume blog has a post all about it though!

any chance for a link to Steve Rick's ID post?

the coat itself looks like a single-breasted victorian style frock coat. Laughing Moon makes a good pattern and Simplicity makes a passible/meh version as well.
