Custom S5 blue bow tie Finished.

After getting my Harris Tweed i was on a dilemma about wether to make a Time of the Angels cosplay or Victory of the Daleks. The choice mainly rested on the bow-tie, as i am planning to buy Magnoli Clothiers' Paul Smith replica when it comes out. Just noticed something else, it seems that i accidently replicated the slight mis-centering of the main body of the bow tie, leaving the right side (your right) slightly smaller than the left side. Ahhh, the wonders of accidents.

Nice tie. I got mine at Tie Rack. I prefer the Burgandy one.

Btw, what shirt do you use? I assume thats a modified collar. I did something not unlike that with my Tesco shirt. Except i reinforced the existing collar with an old workshirt collar so it could take tge bow tie.

I bought the shirt, second-hand, at a thrift store. It's by a company named "Melka" and that's about all i know of it. It ticks a lot of the boxes for being a Paul Smith Stand-in, except, not surprisingly, the pattern. Sadly the cuffs, aren't striped in another fabric that the main body one(but i could modify it myself)and as you can see, the collar i white fabric, i added the red stitching myself as i think it makes a nice touch. And as said before, i plan on buying the Magnoli Clothiers shirt when it comes out.

Yes. Im tempted by the Spoonflower method, you know. I need to learn to put the shirt togerher mind you. paul smith didnt have me in mind. When they made the shiry originally.

My own shirt was found at a charty shop and came from Tesco originally. Their Cherokee range.
