So I plan on doing Femme!Rory at an upcoming con, but I have a few questions.

Try Forever 21, Target, Or Charlotte Russe for the vest. Most stores at this time of the year want to get rid of their winter stock, so you should be able to find one for pretty cheap.

I'd check out a local thrift store for a good vest.

Going the skirt-and-tights route will make Femme!Rory look a little like Amy, which could be cute.

Maybe just pull your hair back in a ponytail? Nothing too fancy, I wouldn't think.
