Which 10th Dr costumer is the best?

First post here and I hope it's not a redundant question! My 12 year old daughter wants to go as femme-10 for Gallifrey One in Feb and so I am looking at the different sites and on ebay for the costume. Is there a cosplay site that is better than another? I'm looking at Hellocosplay - thoughts

I think Magnoli Clothiers is the best one. At least from what I'm hearing and seeing. However, it really depends on how much you want to spend on this costume. I believe Magnoli is the most expensive.

Magnoli makes the best fabric, Baron Boutique tailors the best suit. Magnoli also makes excellent ties.

At the risk of sounding cliched, the best costume is the one that meets your budget and accuracy needs.

If money is no object, go talk to Steve Ricks, and he will make you a costume that people will wonder if you stole from the BBC.

If money IS an object (and, let's face it, it is for most of us), then you need to assess how much you want to spend on this (money AND time) and how accurate you want to be. IMHO, the important thing, really, is that people recognize who you're supposed to be. Anything above that is gravy.

Refer to the Ten breakdown for a good overview of what the pieces are and how Ten cosplayers have approached them.

From least to most expensive:

• Brown suits and blue ties are fairly readily found at thrift stores. Add a pair of 3D glasses to help sell the look.
• If you have the time and skills (and take it from me--sewing isn't so hard), buy fabric and make something.
• You can buy one ready-made. The absolute dead cheapest are some guys in China selling bespoke costumes on eBay; some of us (myself included) have gone

I highly suggest looking over the Ten Breakdown linked in the comment above for the options out there. My guess is you probably want something decent yet affordable for your daughter. Steve Ricks, Baron and magnoli aren't worth considering at that point as they'll be too pricey. (Although Baron has never had any customer service issues with me FYI) Hello Cosplay is essentially 'those guys from China' and will deliver such a product. I'd personnally recommend cosplaysky as I hear pretty good feedback on thier stuff and they're very competitive with Hello Cosplay. They offer both the suit and the coat and may offer a price break for doing one in child size. Otherwise check ebay for hat i think were the officially licensed Halloween Costumes the BBC released for Ten just in case

I concur, i think for many items, Cosplaysky is the best for budget and quality. Honestdragon are the place only do the sixth doctor outfit, but cosplaysky do four, ten and eleven, with more to come in future.
