Minerva and Miranda as rivals. Doesn't have to be evil I hate you rivals, could just be friendly competition and/or didn't know each other and through the course of the story they get to know... or childhood friends out of touch, etc.
Pairings could be any: MP/MM, MP/AS, MM/HG, or switch the flip and go MP/HG and MM/AS...
My original thought was MP at Beauxbatons and MM at Hogwarts, but really this could be anywhere.
