AU: Miranda as the conductor of a choir
I have had this idea for such a long time, with many variations, but I don’t know; I just can’t bring myself to write it.
So, this is what I dream about: Andy is an aspiring writer and a friend (Lily, Doug, Nate, Emily?) talks her into joining a choir. She doesn’t exactly think of herself as a singer, but her friend really wants her to come along, so she does it because who knows, it could be fun…
This choir isn’t the most exclusive one in town (if you want to, you could include a trying out part) but its conductor has ambitions and wants it to improve and all the time move on to bigger things. The conductor lives for beauty; she has a real passion for music and thinks that it is the most important thing in the world.
The conductor (who also plays the piano, naturally - imagine the beauty of that!) is of course Miranda. All the people in the choir respect her very much; some of them are even a little bit afraid of her because she is so strict, but Andy sees the fire beneath the surface, and soon, she is under the conductor’s spell of music………
Take this were you like; make it an unrequited crush, or let it end in hot fiery smut…. I’m just asking for passion, a splash of angsty heartache, lots of sexual tension, music and an elegantly dominating queen like Miranda.
Please, lovely writers? I might try to write a little music-filled drabble sometime, but this choir idea - well, I’d like to send it away to the experts of Miranda-interpretation!
