I have had this idea for such a long time, with many variations, but I don’t know; I just can’t bring myself to write it ( Read more... )

Aww, crap xD Why do I read prompts when I should be writing xD

I really, really love this idea! I have a small music-related one-shot lying around half written but it's not really AU and Miranda as a choir lady... *__* playing the piano no less **_**

Needless to say my passion for music might come in handy too...

I'm not going to say I'll pick it up, because I think I've already stuffed my plate full with enough food to keep me fed for a year! But I'll write this down and, who knows, maybe one day xD

Oh man, crapola! I'm already spinning up scenes in my head. Nooo!

Oh, I'm so sorry for distracting you! ;) Or not... ;) I'm glad to hear that you have a passion for music; that makes me think that you can understand how I feel about the idea. :)

I'm very glad that you like this idea, and sure, I understand if you can't do this now, but I'd be so happy if you wanted to save it for later! :) Even if it takes you a year.... But, hm, your comment makes me hope that it won't take you a year..... :D

And please tell me that you will take care of that music-related one-shot lying around... I belive that woman + music = hot, and therfor Miranda + music = HOT!! :D

Ah, don't tempt me so much! xD I'm still working hard to finish my two other stories! Maybe when they're done ^_^

Yeah I play several instruments and although I don't have a nice voice I love singing so that part won't be a problem xD

Will also try to finish that one-shot as soon as I can. ^_^

Oh, you don't know how much I want to tempt you! ;) But it's okay; no rush, take your time

I do hope this gets picked up and explored! I immediately thought of Anne's rendition of "Somebody to Love" in "Ella Enchanted" so it's never a far stretch for me to accept Andy as a vocalist. Miranda's soft voice could easily play into the role of conductor as either saving her voice or having had lost her vocal range earlier in her career. So many possibilities. Alas, I've niether time nor talent to go beyond supporting the concept and potential writer =)

Well, it could be an orchestra as well, it was just that I think I have a feeling that singing could somehow be more intimate somehow... eh, I can't explain it properly... Anyway, I'm glad you like the idea, and I hope that a writer will pick it up. :)

playing music of any kind is intmate. its just harder when you convay yourself through an strings and horns.

OMG this would become my favourite story ever. I've been singing in choirs myself since I was 10, and one of my directors was exactly like this.

Oh, I'm glad to hear that; then you understand what I'm waiting for! :) It would become my favourite story too... ;) Miranda has always reminded me about my choir-singing days...

Is "director" the correct word? Ah, you see; there's another reason why I prefer to have this story written by someone else...

I think it probably depends on the organization. In my case, I've pretty much used director and conductor interchangeably.

In case you haven't noticed; first part of the story is posted now, and I can already see it becoming my favourite story ever. :)

(Just thought I'd mention it since you were enthusiastic about the idea.)
