I found Korea very nice too. We were there fora day and I find the people charming. Too bad with the news of north wanting to start a war. Would have loved to stayed longer. And I'm glad you found your bag. I just love places that still have the honor system.
I can count in one hand the number of times we came across a rude Korean during our entire stay there, and it was only one time because of road traffic issues. Other than that, they were all so nice and accommodating.
Well, I've recently left my winter cap twice on benches (mall, church) and not too long ago, I've left my bag at the dentists' waiting room (I was so happy I got rid of an aching tooth that nothing else mattered, lol), so I'd be the last person to judge you.
By the way, I'm really happy to see your posts. It's been so quiet on LJ :(
Has it been quiet? Maybe others have moved to other platforms? I resolve not to tumble into tumblr world. FB, Twitter and LJ are already quite a lot to handle for me.
Communities are doing fine, but personal journals have been rather quiet, at least on my flist (but it's a lot smaller than yours, so...). Seems so. I'm not a big fan of FB (I go there once every 2 months, maybe) and Twitter is just not my thing. Tumblr is a handful - it's very spammy, too public and impersonal for me, can't have a decent conversation there either (yeah, I know, it wasn't made for that, but that's exactly why I prefer LJ).
I'd just reveal how crappy I am as an LJ friend and put this out there: I don't even check my f-list. Yes, I'm still on a self-centered run. *smacks face*
Hah, it is my nightmare, to be in situation like that... But in your case, you met a person, who helps you... I'm glad everything was ok, in the end :) I hope you enjoyed your trip :)
A hilarious ending, I must say. My friends were at the Arrivals area, holding a huge piece of paper with "WELCOME TO JEJU, (LOST) JHING!" *shakes head*

You can just think of the entire experience as a side adventure. Haha
