Pimp first:
Maou Ep 2 hardsubs. High-definition, people. Get the best! XDD Sho's advice to Kei-chan. Ohno's glare at Kame. Nino's debt to Kazama.... OK. WHO ELSE SAW EDISON CHEN IN THE DARK NIGHT?
Wow, the movie was lo~ong.
I got out of the office at 5 (yes, I worked overtime on a Saturday yet again), had early dinner with my friend, and entered the

Gosh, Toma had some wonderful scenes in Maou #3. And the Naruse/Naoto confrontations... That line of the translation is beautiful.

Lolz.
I'm a fan of the movies, and the myth. But not really Batman "Batman." My friend, though, is hardcore. Like...Batman hankies, Batman shirt, Batman towels...the works. And SHE is a girl.
Edison Chen. Hmmm....

Check him out. :)
Haha! There are connections, aren't there? Goodness, I felt like bursting inside the cinema because I wanted to blurt it out, but I know my companion would not be able to relate at all since she doesn't know about Maou. XDDD
Yes. The Joker is more scary cause he's intentionally menacing. :) But he's hilarious.
Toma is given a LOT of opportunities to shine as the show progresses. I love his final scenes in Ep 3. He's getting better. :)

Haha, I'll check out the Chen man-I've heard of some of the movies he's been in~
HILARIOUS IN THE WORST WAY. O_o, I think I'm traumatized. But still happy, because yes, that was a wonderful performance by Ledger.
Toma---I adored the school scene and the rain scene. Even though I wish Ohno had more touching scenes like that in the 3rd episode... Maybe later.

Have you seen Equilibrium? You should. YOU.MUST.
Chen was in the sequel of one of my favorite movies, the HK-produced Infernal Affairs. He's not my favorite, exactly, but he's worthy of note.
We only saw Ohno softening a bit at the sight of Shiori railing at herself, but...the devil is the devil. He has to clam up. :)

lol I thought I was the only one who annoyed with Katie Holmes. I was grinding my teeth every time she appeared on screen last time. Very bland ._. Maggie is definitely better than Katie but still, I was sort of glad when she died. I just didn't care for the character.
And Heath Ledger, he's my favourite too <3 He definitely stole the show - he was amazing!
Ohno is great as always and as for Toma, he still a bit shaky but keep in mind, his character has to display so many emotions. He was unhappy, and constantly racked by guilt despite his cocky front. He sort of need to disguise it well by being loud and all. But Toma still has much more room for improvement though. Let just say, by end of the drama, my sympathy for Naruse, runs out xD Not a spoiler right? Heeee xD

Gawd, yeah. Katie Holmes. Never a fan of Dawson's Creek. Tee-hee. 'Nuff said.
And I kept thinking what was so special about Rachel Dawes for Bruce Wayne to be pining for her. I just felt bad for the character, dying like that. Tee-hee. It was like, "OK, kill her quick so we can turn Harvey Dent into a bad guy already!"
What I like about Toma here is despite how shaky he gets, he still finds that pitch-perfect balance and bounces back real good. I am positive that he will keep this up until such time he maintains it. :)
Definitely not a spoiler. :))
I'm actually waiting for when that sympathy runs out. If it does, if my sympathy DOES run out, that could only mean that Ohno did a slam-bang job on the whole thing.

I have this craving for Maou-related entries so I've started lj-hopping and landed on yours. :)
Too bad, though, I haven't seen Dark Knight yet. And that's weird for me because I'm a Batman fan, particularly the Tim Burton ones. So I just scrolled down and saw this:
Morgan Freeman. Give any role to this guy, and he'll do it. With flying colors.
I agree with you! He's an acting guru!
And I wrote the same thing about episode 3's ending, that Naruse looks like he sees everything, knows something others don't, because he sees and knows The Plan.
Thanks for the good read!

Oh sorry...I hope I didn't spoil the movie for you....:)
I like how Morgan Freeman is not picky with his roles. He's the embodiment of the saying "There are no big or small roles."
Funny how Naruse is 'the devil' but acts like a god (in that all-seeing, all-knowing way). This show rocks.
Thanks for reading!!! :)

I've watched some Morgan Freeman films and I find his acting skills very smooth, very natural. He doesn't seem like he's acting at all, even in the very dramatic movies he has done. And I love his voice. Great narrator, too.
Ah yes, Naruse is indeed acting all God-like. Lucifer did the same; tried to equal/surpass God. This is one of the reasons why Lucifer fell from God's grace. :) I've written a parallelism between Lucifer/Satan and Naruse Ryou/Amano Makoto, just like what you've done above for Naruse and the Joker, in some sort of pseudo-essay. Yeah.
I visit your journal from time to time, when you make public posts. I've finally overcome my shyness and actually commented. :)

I wanna see how they'd play a Naruse's-fall-from-grace. :)
