Hot DAMN what a weekend! Writing from the airport/plane on my way home now. It's weird because I literally cannot remember the last time I traveled alone.

Washington DC is really incredible. I don't consider myself particularly patriotic but I do have an intense respect and appreciation for history and this is definitely a city full of it.

Oh man that sounds awesome. And you don't know how jealous I am that you got to meet John Oliver.

Glad you had a good experience in DC. :) I hope Obama and the rest of the administration took note of the protest. (Wish I could have gone!)

When I lived over that way, I had the privledge of wandering the museums in DC... I can totally relate to the happy feelings.

That is so neat though, ahh! Looks like it was an mazing opportunity to go protest in our nation's capitol. Good on you guys for making it all the way out there.
