You know Tylenol with 8 mg of codeine (Tylenol 1) is available over the counter in Canada, right? You just ask the pharmacist for it--you don't need a prescription. And you can double up Tylenol with Advil or Aleve (but not with both). I'd still call the doctor about that much pain, though.

I'm not taking codeine when pregnant!

I'm feeling much better today though. My knee and elbow still get a bit wonky at times, but at least the chronic pain aspect is gone.

Oh, crap, I didn't think of that. I didn't know codeine and pregnancy didn't mix, but that makes sense. Sorry.

I'm sorry. That does sound horrible. I hate falling when pregnant. I fell a few times while pregnant with Vivian, and the last time was on ice, in a parking lot, at 35 weeks. I had to be monitored for 4 hours in L&D before they let me go home. The up side to that was I got some extra strength Tylenol and ice for my side.

I have days where I feel pointless. Like today. I haven't put on a bra or done much more than make sure the kid doesn't pee in her pants and make breakfast. The house was clean Sunday, it is a mess now. I don't know how they do THAT to a house, but good heavens, they do. It is like I can't go pee without THAT happening. *sigh*...
