The sun actually came out today. I don't know if it's connected, but I actually had energy to get stuff done. Did some dish washin' and kitchen scrubbin' and floor sweepin' and laundry runnin'. Yee haw

What's the success rate of the surgery like these days? That will tell you more about what's likely to happen to Pippa if she has it than a single negative case report will.
I have strabismus myself, and I wish the non-surgical options for treating it had been available (and known to my ophthalmologist) when I was a kid. My parents were told that surgery was the only treatment, and that it didn't have a very high success rate. That was 20+ years ago, though.
I remember when I realized I would never be able to meal plan to the degree that some of my more organized friends do ... and then I realized something else, which I confirmed with Keith: if I had a binder of meals for the next week or two planned out, it would drive him *crazy*. :) I guess in order to advance in one's vocation as a wife and mother, you have to advance in knowledge of yourself and your own family.
