When I returned from my Memorial Day travels, I found that I had gained 3 pounds. Not much, but enough to make me feel bloated and out-of-shape. Based on the aching of my swollen knees, I actually suspect that much of that weight gain was water. I modify the diet a bit, as I'm an ovo-vegetarian, so I eat eggs but no meat or dairy. But otherwise this is pretty much how I eat. I have been following this way of eating for 6 months, and I truly love it.
