An update on my plantar fasciitis, shoes and inserts

I never finished updating you all about my plantar fasciitis issues, did I? When last I left off the story, the long-awaited New Balance shoes I wanted had arrived, as had my custom fit orthotics. That really tempts me to go into a Good Feet store. My back hurts a lot because of my posture and that's because of my rigid spine...orthodics might actually help.

I'm really glad you're closer to pain-free!

If you have foot problems, like flat feet or high arches, orthitic inserts very well could improve your posture. The change (hopefully correction) in my posture was a surprise to me. I knew I had very high arches which cause me foot pain if I don't wear shoes with good arch support. I had no idea the difference in the position of my feet could make a difference in the health of my spine. Of course there are probably other factors involved in its slight twist to the right, but it seems to make sense to start by providing it with a good base!
