1) As far as I know nope. Guess it wasn't even mentioned in the novel. He never called him as far as I know.

2) Doesn't seem so since Shizuo is still saying if they can kick Izaya's ass he is introducing them to Kasuka in the latest volume from what I have read.

Hmm, this brings up another question of how the sisters knew Kasuka is Shizuo's brother then? But I suppose Izaya could have just told them that a long time ago (since it doesn't seem like he lives with them anymore).

Yep I've thought about this too XD But yes I guess Izaya told them. Ah well I didn't read all of the novel yet so I could be totally wrong! But I guess it's because... well... they just know it XD

I'm not sure about the answers to your questions, but I totally agree, that the parkour scene seemed so...odd! I understand that they have to make Izaya look pretty good at what he does in order to always get away from Shizuo (who they have spent the whole series making seem like some kind of god) but this is supposed to be a down-to-earth show with some supernatural, (irish) elements, not DBZ. Why were they, like, flying?? =/

There were a few bones I had to pick with this episode, but overall it was hilarious, and I am in love with it. Kinda.

I know, right? I love watching people do pakour ever since I discovered the existence of this, so I was really looking forward to see what those two at pakour would be (realistically) capable of. The animated scene was just a tad overstretching my suspension of disbelief. Sure, Izaya can fight some and is incredibly smart, but he certainly still under the 'human' category of characters.

What other bones did you have to pick? Discussion is always relevant to my interests! :D

yeah, it would've actually been really interesting to see it done properly. Though the novel gets kind of ridiculous when it describes Shizou doing parkour on rooftops at one point as well ( ... )

Well to its credit, coming from someone who isn't proficient enough to read the novels, I have to say unless it's being watched by someone who hasn't caught the anime at all (especially the interaction with shizuo when they were young), Kasuka still feels pretty in character when he was playing an opposite personality on TV. I didn't see him as being unfeeling/angry at the boardroom since we've seen him behave that way since his childhood interactions with Shizuo and we know it's just the way he is, and not him throwing a tantrum ( ... )

1 and 2 got answered so on the random thought

Book 4 mentions that Shizuo doesn't like Izaya but he's okay with his sisters because his sisters are direct and honest, which he likes in people because knows how to approach them.

Lol, it's still pretty weird though, got me wondering how their first encounter was like. I mean, I'm sure Izaya wouldn't have introduced his sisters to him for shits and giggles... or would he?

i don't think he introduced his sisters to shizuo...

it looked more like the sisters found shizuo first coz they wanted to get closer to kasuka...
