Stupid "Casino Royale." I watched it tonight with my family and had to go change my Myspace layout to fit the opening theme; I'd been waiting for a song that struck me as sufficiently Fran to do a layout around her, and I found it. Utena is awesome, but that anime...it was one of the first fucked up anime I watched and it really affected me. ^_^ I knew then that it was love.

Ha! You are certainly right about that.

I remember Utena was the second really "What, wha?" anime (well, the movie) and manga that I ever watched/read (the first was Evangelion. Not even the series. My horrible, horrible friends had me sit down and watch End of Evangelion first *headdesk* But it did make the Utena movie seem a little saner by comparison) I loved the crazy too. And I remember my dad walked in on the part where Utena turned into, like, a car or something. Needless to say, he now thinks all anime is that fucked up.

I was explaining Evangelion to my brother in my car earlier, because we were listening to Cruel Angel's Thesis and I said, "This anime is so fucked up." When I started talking about Rei and Lilith, and about the Angels, my brother was like, "Wait a minute, what?!" I haven't seen End of Evangelion because...well, honestly, everything I've heard about it has made me feel a little unwell, and I don't know if it would bring me a more satisfying conclusion to Evangelion. What d'you think?

But yeah, it's funny you mention that, because not only have I been watching Utena AMVs recently, but talking about Evangelion - and they're both truly demented shows in their own ways! I found Utena's brand of crazy a little more emotionally satisfying than Eva's, though. I'm not one for that Komm, Süsser Tod outlook; as we've talked about before, I've gotta be in the right mood to accept angst ( ... )

I'm REALLY glad Cyperous opened up and we chose it as our "wig buyer". I was two seconds away from hiring someone in Japan to go to the shop and actually ship it to me themselves but........this just makes my endeavors easier ^^

I will be getting that Tear wig. And you BETTER be getting that Natalia wig cause its GORGEOUS :DDDD High quality shit, dooood. Why doesn't the whole group just take a trip to Cyperous D: XD

It's the truth! I've seen a lot of Tear cosplayers, and you are going to be the absolute best, AND the prettiest. TBHNGL! :DDD I can't wait to see you put on that Tear wig! It will be perfect!

Oh, me, too! I was dying inside trying to come up with Natalia wigs from Cosworx and Amphigory, so this makes life for everybody in Ellipsis a thousand times easier.

Plus, as you and Holly both mentioned, the Cyperous wigs are higher quality. We are going shopping! ^__^
