the tour apparently made a financial loss, which is a real pity Definitely a pity! A damn fine night - glad we made it. Rose Kemp definitely has a fine set of lungs.
I'm now getting very tempted to go to Beautiful Days. I suspect if I cn convince my work it's worth our while to have a presence there, I can get them to pay for my ticket in exchange for me staffing a staff for a few hours a day.
Worth a try, as festivals go it's one of my definite faves - nice and chilled, small site so you're not wasting all day trudging from stage to stage, real beer and cider on offer and above all damn good music. No idea what the line-up is this year and, tbh, I don't really mind who plays (unless it's Coldplay... )..
Only problem with BDs this year is a clash with Blyth power's 'Not-Tallington' *grumbles*. But as pretty much everyone we know will be at BDs... I'm pretty certain that's where we'll be.
Yeah, Lois was on at me to convince d_floorlandmine to go to Not-Tallington, but frankly I think we're onto a loser with both that and BDs as he loathes camping.
